Good post. People enjoy blaming politicians for their own problems. Otherwise they may blame teachers, immigrants or anyone else they can think of. But politicians can force fast food restaurants to put nutrition info on their menus and ban fast food restaurants from opening in high density neighborhoods.

And they can also subsidize farmers to produce so much corn that they have to invent new ways of selling it to us…A nice big glass of HFCS anyone??

But you are right, they still can’t force us to eat unhealthy foods.

That’s our choice and our responsibility.
