Type 2 Diabetes and Exercise
Posted on December 3, 2008
Just in case you don’t believe me about exercise being good for you:
“Cross -sectional, retrospective, prospective, and interventional epidemiologic research, including studies of enforced inactivity, provide strong evidence that regular exercise reduces type 2 diabetes risk in adolescents and adults.”1
Reducing your risk of type 2 diabetes is just one of the benefits of regular exercise. I promise, there are plenty more.
Get some.

Yes there are studies showing people prone to diabetes can prevent it with healthy eating and exercise.

@James Hubbard, M.D., M.P.H. Yeah, I think there are quite a few. Now if we could just help people do start doing it…
It makes sense right? You exercise a little (or a lot) more and it’s absolutely going to improve your health.
