It’s been a good week. I hope it has been for you too. Here are some good reads from around the web that I read this week. Enjoy them.
From MayoClinic.com I read about Fast Food vs. Homemade food. With the economy the way that it is, more people are eating at home and when they do go out, they are eating at cheaper places. Is that true for you?
I read Physical Activity is a Family Affair at Stand Up (more) & Eat (better). Here you will find some great family activities to do together. It is true, families can all be active together. Before my wife got too pregnant, we would go running and swimming together. It’s always more fun with her! Hope to do the same with our kids too!
At Marion Nestle’s blog, I read about the Center for Science in the Public Interest taking on Topps marketing for making and marketing candies for kids. They’re also using the Jonas Brothers to promote a specific product for kids. Interesting.
Is your Diet for Life? DietBlog takes a look at how we need to stick to healthy eating habits that we can maintain for a lifetime instead of quick crash diets that don’t last long at all.
Ever heard of Oxygenated Water? Small Bites responds to a reader’s question about the water’s health benefits, if any. Remember, be careful about believing all kinds of crazy health claims.
Well, there you have it. Enjoy the links and thanks for all the great comments this week. Keep it up!
Have a great weekend!

One of our favorite things to do – is go outside as a family and play a game of basketball, or football, or soccer. And everyone loves it! Our kids often ask to go out and play one of these games. Fun is the key!
@Lance Awesome! I remember doing the same with my dad and brothers when I was younger too. Thanks for sharing.
Feeling good after 1 hour bike then 5 mile run. Need stuff to read today? Here ya go: http://tinyurl.com/apj87n
