Physical Activity and Earth Day

Posted on April 22, 2009

“Physical activity is undeniably ‘green.’  The environmental benefits that result from changes like biking instead of driving to work are significant, and the health gains from incorporating exercise into a daily lifestyle are an added bonus to personal health and wellness.”

ACSM President Mindy Millard-Stafford, Ph.D., FACSM [here].

Well, there ya go.  Get exercise, save the planet, be healthier and happier.  If you don’t care about the earth then get exercise for your own sake.
