Sleep Like a Baby

Posted on April 13, 2009

Don’t we wish we could always sleep like this?  I found some sleep tips for those of us who can’t always sleep like babies here.  Not all of these work for everyone, but these may help you, no matter what battles you face before/while you try to hit the sack.

Here’s one of the suggestions:

“Try to exercise 20 to 30 minutes a day.  Daily exercise often helps people sleep, although a workout soon before bedtime may interfere with sleep.”

A good workout during the early morning or late afternoon usually helps me feel tired enough to fall asleep pretty quickly.

Someone told me the other day that sleep is “overrated.”  I think sleep is rated just fine.  Do your best to get enough.

Sleep is definitely NOT overrated! My husband always tells me I’m wasting time when I sleep, but it’s just so dang relaxing. Babies and cats have the right idea!

enjoy the peaceful nights dude. Somewhere along the way our kid decided that he was done sleeping through the night. I don’t know what happened but apparently he agrees that sleep is overrated.

Sleep is not overrated at all! It’s a physiological need that has to be listen to :) This crazy society wants too much from people.
