Staying Active and Having Fun

Posted on July 8, 2009

Here are some pics from my triathlon a few weeks ago and my wife’s 5K last weekend:

The swim.  Did just under 1 mile in Utah Lake — it was a little bit chilly.  I’m there in the middle in the white swim cap.

Bike leg was 25 miles.  Someday I’ll get better bike, but for now this is all I’ve got.  It’s tough getting passed by the fast people on their tri bikes.  : )

Run.  6.2 miles.  Legs felt a little tight.

Always nice to cross the finish line.

Biggest.  Fan.  Ever.  She’s 4 months old now.

My mom and wife before their 5K run.

Sprint to the finish.

The finish line.  They are somewhere in that sea of people.

Hope you enjoyed the pics.  Stay active and have fun!: )

    Hey Blake! I found a workout thing for 100 push-ups/200 sit-ups. Maybe you have already heard of it/done it but I thought you might be interested. I have already started it and have been improving. http://www.hundredpushups.com

    @Brandon

    Yeah I’ve seen that site – it’s pretty cool. I can do a lot more pushups now than I could before, but I’m not yet to 100!
