Lunch Break Workout

Posted on October 14, 2009

“You relieve stress, reduce muscle tension that builds up from sitting at a desk, and increase the oxygen in your blood.  You’ll return to your desk with a better mood and a sharper mind.”

– Kara Mohr, an exercise physiologist via here.

Great article from Active.com on how to get in a good lunch-break workout.  Sometimes it’s too hard to get up early and we’re too tired in the evenings to get in our workouts.  Maybe lunchtime is the perfect time?

Find a time that works for you and stick to it.

So true! I find I can focus better at my desk after I’ve taken a nice brisk walk during my lunch break…it’s amazing what even 10 minutes of walking can do for you body and mind.
