December Food Journal: Day 1

Well, here it is.  Day 1 of the photo food journal for December.  If you hate pictures of food, sorry.  I’m using this as a tool to help me eat better.  Maybe it will help someone else too.

Food Journal for December 1, 2009:

Wheat toast with peanut butter and honey w/ skim milk. 

Turkey sandwich w/ spinach, tomato, 1/2 slice provolone cheese, and mustard.

Mmm.  Banana.

Apple slices before workout.  Did 60 mins on bike, including intervals.  Felt nice.

Salad for dinner.  Spinach, romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, black beans, tomatoes, corn, and feta cheese.

Had some cereal before bed.  It was a tasty day. 

Maybe it was only a good day because I knew I was going to be taking pictures of what I was eating and posting them.  I guess we’ll see how I really eat as this experiment continues.  :)

    @FatFighterTV – I’m curious to see how it turns out too. I’ve already been more aware of what I’m eating. I guess the true test will be in January to see if I’ve learned anything from this!
