December Food Journal: Day 2

Food Journal for December 2, 2009:

Had this smoothie first thing in the morning.  1 banana, 1 apple, a bunch of frozen strawberries, a bunch of grapes, 1 cup of skim milk, and a bit of vanilla yogurt.  So good.  This was the first time that I added grapes.  It was a good addition. 

My in-laws and my wife’s grandma took us out to lunch to Spicy Thai, one of our fave places in Provo.  I had the masaman curry (I think that’s how it’s spelled).  Had chicken, onions, carrots in the curry and you can see some rice under the sweet and sour sauce.  I didn’t have any of the sauce but the sweet and sour soup was good, as were the 2 egg rolls.  : )

My mom-in-law shared a bit of her pad thai with me.  I had never had this before and it was pretty good. 

Dinner.  We were pressed for time so we just threw the salad from yesterday into tortillas for a wrap. 

Had some whole wheat pancake batter left over from the other day so I cooked these up and had them for a snack.
