December Food Journal: Day 4

Food Journal: December 4, 2009

Smoothie.  Banana, apple, grapes, strawberries, yogurt, and milk.

Leftovers from dinner.  Still just as good the next day.

Went out to Chef’s Table in Provo for wife’s company Christmas party.  These were the appetizers.  Bacon wrapped scallops (I just had one because I didn’t like them) and bread with tomatoes on top.  Whats the fancy name for those?  I also had 2 rolls that I didn’t take a picture of.  Just forgot.

Here’s my dinner.  Stuffed chicken with rice and steamed veggies.  Really good.  Yup, I ate it all.  :)

Wife’s dinner.  Beef.  I had about 3 bites.  Really really good.  This place is pretty fancy-dancy so I had to give everything a try.

Dessert.  Hazelnut chocolate dome cake.  I don’t always have dessert, but when I do, it’s gotta be something like this.

I’m jealous of your trip to Chef’s Table. I think it’s usually called Bruschetta (the bread with tomatoes). I’m impressed at your diligence with the blog and with the eating and exercising. I need to get back in the swing of things with running.

@Justin – Oh yeah, good call on the Bruschetta.
