Guatemalan Food and Other Stuff

Posted on December 31, 2009

It’s been a bit crazy these last few days.  Trying to get the house deep cleaned and some stuff fixed so not a lot of time (or room) to make good meals.  Been taking advantage of gift cards and relatives in town…

This is my Grandma.  Mami Yoli.  She taught us how to make good tortillas and huevos rancheros… Guatemalan style.

I love huevos rancheros so very much. I would eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. What makes it Guatemalan?

@rookie cookie – honestly, can’t remember what makes then Guatemalan style, but my mom and grandma told me that Mexicans make it differently.
