Holiday Guilt

Posted on December 23, 2009

It’s the holidays.  Have a plan to eat smart and stay active.  Indulge a little.  Enjoy the time with family, friends, etc.  If you have a bad day, move on.  Don’t let feelings of guilt make you feel worse and lead you to fall completely of the healthy-lifestyle wagon.   Just beacuse you have a bad day doesn’t mean you need to have a couple of bad weeks and say “I will start again January 1st.”

Just thought we all should remember that.  Enjoy your holiday!

I’ve given up the fight during the holidays. It’s just too hard. What else are you supposed to do while sitting around plates and plates of food chatting with friends and family!?

My plan this year was to try and recover a little in between Christmas and New Year’s. At least offset some of the excess during the few days in between when I have to go back to work. Today was day one…
