I like that quote from [...]

We’re in the process of moving.  Been kinda crazy and hectic.  Can’t wait to get settled in and back into a routine.

– via American Heart Association
Just something to remember.  Get active today and this [...]

Lysacek Wins Gold

Posted on February 19, 2010 - Filed Under Random, Shout Outs | 1 Comment

Congrats to Evan Lysacek for winning the gold medal last night.
Quick question… the outfits?   How can a [...]

My little girl came running with me yesterday.  Running is a lot more fun when you have an awesome training partner.  We ended up going about 4 miles together and she laughed and sang the whole time.  Can’t believe she’s gonna be 1 in about a week!

Just heard about this new site from the gov’t called Let’s Move.
“Let’s Move! has an ambitious but important goal: to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity within a generation.”
Will be interesting to see if this campaign, the first lady and the task force can make any headway on this issue.  I hope they can.  But like [...]

“Change starts with the individual choices Americans make each day for themselves, their families and those around them. Take a Step

“What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step.”
–  Antoine de Saint-Exupery
I ran 11 miles this past Saturday.  That’s a new personal best in distance for me.  Previous was 10 miles.  Can’t help but look back and remember when I would struggle to just run 1/2 mile.  Doesn’t matter how small that first [...]
