Mile Repeat Day

Wednesday is the dreaded mile-repeat day for me.  This morning I did 6 x 1 mile.  Average time was 7:19.  I went too fast the first 2 miles –did first in 6:45 and second in 6:50.  Times consistently slowed down –last mile was around 7:55. 

Anyway, just wanted to share this because even though this workout sucks, it works.  And consistency also works.  I remember the days of running 10+ minute-miles and only being able to run 1 of them.  I’ve come a long way, and so can you. 

Do what works for you and stay consistent.
