I was checking out the recently released Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2010 and found this. Interesting to see how much sugar we get from drinks. Definitely something to consider if you are looking to make some healthy changes to your diet.

Elizabeth Miller, leader of the internet and health fraud team from the FDA, labeled HCG weight-loss products as “economic fraud.” This doesn’t come as any surprise, and it shouldn’t for you either.
Bottom line: It doesn’t work and you shouldn’t waste your money. There are healthier ways to lose weight and get more fit.

I just read “More Breaks from Sitting Are Good for Waistlines and Hearts” over at ScienceDaily. Interesting article on a study that points out that too much sitting increases your risk of developing unhealthy conditions, even if you do participate in regular moderate-intensity exercise.
