Sources of Added Sugars in Your Diet
Posted on January 31, 2011

I was checking out the recently released Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2010 and found this. Interesting to see how much sugar we get from drinks. Definitely something to consider if you are looking to make some healthy changes to your diet.
A lot of empty calories in drinks, no matter how “healthy” they claim to be. Nothing more than “clever” marketing.
More on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2010 from me in the next few days. Yes, I get that they aren’t perfect (politics, lobbying, etc. etc.), but good steps to take for people who are currently doing nothing.
