Healthy Monday – Prevention
Posted on August 29, 2011
Healthy Monday is a public health initiative founded in 2005 in association with Johns Hopkins University, Syracuse University, and Columbia Univerisity.
Their mission includes ending “chronic preventable disease in the U.S. by offering people and organizations a weekly prompt to start and sustain healthy behaviors.”

“Can you remember the last time you saw your doctor? If not, it’s time to make an appointment this Monday. General check-ups can catch problems early and ensure timely treatment and better health.”
A check-up or physical can bring you up-to-date with you cholesterol levels, blood pressure and other key health indicators. If you know where you stand you’ll know if adjustments need to be made to your lifestyle habits.
Schedule an appointment with your doctor today.
Have a Healthy Monday!
