I haven’t always taken care of myself. I’ve been overweight and on the unhealthier side of things. I know what that feels like. Not fun.

I came to a point where I finally decided to take better care of myself through better exercise and eating habits. No crazy diets, gadgets or pills. Just work.

Simple. Lifestyle. Changes.

My goal with The Fight for Fitness is to encourage you to make healthy lifestyle changes that you can maintain throughout your life.

In my opinion, too many people die too early in life from diseases that can, in most cases, be preventable through healthier eating and physical activity habits.

My beautiful wife, my two daughters, crossing the finish line (triathlon, run, or any other event), chronic disease prevention, shooting below 90 in golf, BYU sports, soccer, tennis, raquetball, watching sports, nutrition, going fast, creating/cooking healthy recipes, long bike rides, exercise physiology, reading good books, and walks with my family.
