About Me

Posted on May 21, 2008

I’m just a guy trying to live a healthier life.  I’m not perfect with my health and every day I battle just like everyone else.  Sometimes I make poor choices.  I try to make good choices on a regular basis, and that is the key.

I graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness Management.

I started this blog to promote healthy living and teach how simple lifestyle changes can help us live happier, longer and healthier.

In my opinion, too many people die too early in life from diseases that can, in a lot of cases, be preventable.

My Passions: my wife, my daughter, finishing triathlons, chronic disease prevention, real estate, shooting below 90 in golf, soccer, tennis, raquetball, nutrition, going fast, cooking healthy food, long bike rides, exercise physiology, and walks with my family.

Disclaimer:  I’m not a doctor.  This site is desgined to give tips, motivation and resources for living a healthy lifestyle.  The ideas presented here are my thoughts and opinions on nutrition, health, and fitness based on what I have studied, learned, and applied.   Be smart when it comes to your health.  Talk to your doctor before starting an exercise and/or healthier eating program.
