Research has shown that overweight/obese children as young as 10 can have the same blockage of arteries as 45-year-olds. What’s the cause? The same thing that usually causes blockage in adults –an unhealthy lifestyle.

A study published in the Archives of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine found that children as young as 2-years-old mimic their parents’ food choices.

A study done by University of London researchers and published in the latest edition of the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health found that preschool-aged children who eat more junk food are more likely to be slower learners than those who eat a lot of junk food at a later age.
